Ray Bradbury, Author of Fahrenheit 451, Has Died

Sad bit of news today - author Ray Bradbury has died at the age of 91. The prolific author produced classic works such as Fahrenheit 451 and The Martian Chronicles. The latter was my personal favorite. I remember reading it in the seventh grade and trying my hand at writing “The Space Chronicles.” Though I’m sure my version was quite terrible, I’m thankful for the inspiration Mr. Bradbury provided to me and I’m sure countless others.

Here’s a link from USA Today about the news, and the Paris Review has a 2010 interview with him posted here.

We’d love to hear your memories of reading Ray Bradbury. Share yours in the comments.
